To Restore Hetch Hetchy Valley
September 25 to 28, 2014
Muir’s Ride is a 4-day professionally supported bike ride that follows a challenging but beautiful route from Pleasanton over the coast range, across the San Joaquin Valley, through the Sierra Foothills where it will end at the grand entrance to Yosemite Valley’s twin in Yosemite National Park: Hetch Hetchy Valley. While raising funds for an incredible charity, you'll enjoy a cross-section of California, navigate some awesome and remote back roads and cruise a spectacular downhill run to the gates of Hetch Hetchy and Yosemite National Park.
Funds raised for the Muir's Ride directly benefit Restore Hetch Hetchy, whose mission is to restore Hetch Hetchy Valley in Yosemite National Park to its natural splendor ─ while continuing to meet the water and power needs of all communities that depend on the Tuolumne River.
